A PTZ Turret camera is a PTZ camera that can automatically follow a moving person. The word Turret is the term for a moving cannon tower. The camera can be designed as a mini dome, eyeball, flat-faced dome, or the type known as PTZ camera. Dome Turret camera, has more advantages over traditional IR camera as it is more immune to building spider webs at night. A Turret camera can rotate both horizontally and vertically (manually). A Turret camera has the advantage that the IR illumination does not give reflection in the glass which can blur the image at night.
