Connect Web-based I/O devices to the process modules and get measurement data and the option of control over Ethernet.
The Web Modules can be used as follows:
Stand-Alone:
Select the Web module that has the number of inputs and outputs that the task requires.
Can be connected to a PC via the local network or the Internet (remember fixed IP address).
Can be connected to SmartPhone/Tablet. APP is downloaded and installed.
P2P/Par-funktion:
Select the Web module that has the number of inputs and outputs that the task requires.
Can be connected to a PC via the local network or the Internet (remember fixed IP address).
The Web modules can be set up to transfer the input status from one module to the output of another module over the local network or the Internet.
It can be digital information (high/low) and at the same moment the input level changes, it will cause the second module output to change accordingly. The system is designed so that inputs and outputs can not get "out of step".
You can transmit analog signals - signal voltage or 0 - 20mA current and digital signals - state change.
Slave units:
Select the Web module that has the number of inputs and outputs that the task requires. Select the Logic Controller to which I/O modules are to be connected. The connection between the Controller and the I/O modules can be over the local network or the Internet (remember fixed IP address). With the X-600 series, it is a flat-cable connection, as the modules sit on the same DIN rail.
Applications:
Remote control of relay outputs over local area network or Internet
With P2P communication and remote control capabilities, Ethernet I/O devices are ideal for remotely controlling relays. You can remotely control a relay based on an input on a module, or you can remotely turn on and off pumps, open gates or lock buildings via the embedded Web server on each Web module.
Industrial automation:
The Web I/O modules can be used as stand-alone industrial controllers, a small and affordable control system or they can be integrated into a larger industrial automation and SCADA system.
The Web I/O modules can be used to advantage for a number of different industrial automations, such as building automation, environmental monitoring, environmental control, safety automation and water/wastewater treatment, just to name a few tasks.

Each Web module has a built-in Web server and can be accessed via a standard Web browser via LAN or via the Internet. No additional software or drivers are required and no monthly subscriptions.
