The IP code shows the degree of protection of the keyboards. It shows the keyboard's ability to withstand entry from e.g. water and dust.
The IP code is also described as the enclosure class. The letters IP are short for Ingress Protection, and are followed by 2 digits.
The higher the digits, the better the ability to execute. The first number shows the degree of rejection of a product against dust (0-6) followed by the degree of waterproofing (0-8)
