ETH-MODGW7xx series is a Modbus gateway that allows for a Modbus TCP / IP - UDP host to communicate with serial Modbus RTU / ASCII remote terminal units through an Ethernet network, thus eliminating the cable length limitation of legacy serial communication devices .
