Modbus Master controller for eg. Monitoring of RS485 Modbus sensors. The X-404 in the module acts as a web-based modbus master controller and monitor to third-party RS485 Modbus sensors and devices. It can monitor up to 32 RS485 sensors / devices.
A great advantage in Modbus integration is the easy setup, reliability and daisy-chainning functions.
Control settings for all ControlByWeb devices with their various combinations of in- And outputs, can act as a Modbus / TCP slave unit controlled by the X-404-in controller.
Example is liquid level monitoring. Use X-404-I to monitor fluid levels through the module's Modbus protocol. An illustration shows X-404-I connected to MPX Float sensor as well as Modbus Network Display for local monitoring. X-404-I can also be connected to pressure sensors, like PT-500 for other level measurements.
Programming the X-404-in the module is designed to automatically program Modbus sensors when connected without the use of an external power supply or a separate programming module. Email / text alerts can be configured in X-404-I to send email / text alarms when the level reaches the high / low parameters. Enable logging to register the history of sensor modes.
