A USB video grabber is an external video capture card. It connects video cameras, other computers or any device with video output to your computer for editing, recording and streaming. Unlike a traditional capture card (which is installed inside the computer), a USB video grabber is connected to the computer via a USB port. To use it, simply connect the video source (HDMI, DVI or VGA) to one side of the VCR and connect the other side to the computer using the included USB cable.
