The TSH230 is a splash-proof temperature and humidity sensor with a 1-wire interface. A unique capacitive element is used to measure relative humidity, while temperature is measured by a bandgap element. Both elements are seamlessly coupled to a 14/12-bit analog to digital converter, resulting in superior measurement quality. Used with one of the Teracom Ethernet or cellular controllers, the TSH230 is an ideal choice for moisture monitoring in applications requiring IP54 protection.
The TSH230 communicates over a 1-wire bus. Each sensor has a unique 64-bit serial code, which enables support for multiple sensors on the same 1-Wire bus.
The digital sensor is mounted in an IP65-tight housing. This provides protection against dust and water spray. A cable gland with locking nut and screwless terminal block provides easy cable installation.
