In order to protect the critical fiber optic networks against failure in the power system is FIBER BYPASS-XX-Series ultra-fast automatic recovery solution for fiber network which does not tolerate failure, if there is a power failure on some critical network switches. Redundant backbone design with fiber bypass XX as bypass (fiber-switching) can minimize this.
Fiber bypass XX series is an industrial grade Bypass switch for optical fiber built-in 4 x duplex LC with 2-channel duplex or simplex 4-channel fiber-optic connection with bypass function. The optical fiber ports support 100Gbps / 40Gbps / 10Gbps / 1Gbps / 100Mbps fiber connections. FIBER-BYPASS XX automatically switch optical network traffic to prevent link failure during power loss. It also allows the local area network switch can be replaced or removed without stopping the network.

FIBER bypass XX series using fiber-to-fiber technology to achieve ultra-low loss and ultra-fast switching time. Two of fiber ports used to connect to two remote fiberomskiftere, and the other two fiber ports used to connect to the local fiberomskifter. FIBER-BYPASS-XX series and the local fiber Ethernet switch operated from the same power source.
When the system power is on, functions FIBER BYPASS-XX series in Normal mode and forwards Ethernet packets between two external fiberomskiftere and local fiberomskifter.
When a power outage occurs, works fIBER BYPASS-XX series in a omkoblingstilstand within 8 milliseconds, which directly forwards Ethernet packet between two external fiberomskiftere and bypasses the local fiberomskifter.
When the system power is recovered, resume network traffic operation between the two external and local fiberomskiftere fiber switch.
