General on 4: 3 or 5:4 aspect ratio:
Often you want a 4: 3 TFT led screen to older solutions where the graphics are not to widescreen. But if you eg. want a resolution is 1280 x 1024 then it a 5: 4 format screen you need. Most people believe erroneously that it should be a 4: 3 but it is 1280x960.
Ex. A screen with 4: 3 format.
Resolution 1280/4 = 320, 320x3 = 960 hence resolution of 1280x960
A screen with 5:4
Resolution 1280/5 = 256, 256x4 = 1024 thus resolution of 1280x1024
But note a screen with 5: 4 can be used to 1280x960, but there comes a slightly wider black stripe on the side of the screen.
