Panel screens / Panel monitors are TFT / LCD monitors in a very robust package, where the cabinet is often made of steel. Panel screens are designed to fit into an industrial enclosure so that only the front and front bezels are visible. Almost all panel displays have an IP65 close to the front and with the right rubber gasket between the front frame and box, the result can be an industrial monitor for food-producing companies. The front glass is preferably tempered glass that can withstand the demanding environment.
Some panel displays have touch screens. Here it is the most common type of resistive touch, as it can only be affected by weak pressure. There are several touch principles, ranging from IR raster to projected touch (eg touch through a shop window).
