The ESW8G-M-SFP2+ Industrial 8-port Gigabit 802.3at PoE+ Switch is equipped with a rugged IP30 metal enclosure for stable operation in harsh industrial environments. The ESW8G-M-SFP2+ thus provides a high level of immunity to electromagnetic interference and high electrical surges typically found on factory floors or in curbside traffic control cabinets.
Since the ESW8G-M-SFP2+ can operate in a wide temperature range from -40 to 75 degrees C, it can be placed in almost any harsh environment. The ESW8G-M-SFP2+ also allows for mounting on either DIN rail or wall for efficient use of space.
ESW8G-M-SFP2+ supports redundant ring technology and has a strong and fast self-healing capability to prevent outages and external intrusions. It incorporates advanced ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) technology, Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP) and a redundant power supply system into the customer's industrial automation network to improve system reliability and uptime in harsh factory environments.
The cybersecurity features, which require virtually no effort or cost, include switch management protection and enhanced security for the mission-critical network. Both SSHv2 and TLSv1.2 protocols are used to provide strong protection against advanced threats. The network administrator can now build highly secure enterprise networks with significantly less time and effort than before.
PLANET has developed a great feature -- ONVIF support -- which is specially designed to work with IP video surveillance. From the IESW8G-M-SFP2+ user interface, just click to search and display all ONVIF devices via the network application.
Additionally, you can upload floor images to the switch and remotely monitor or inspect an assembly line. Additionally, you can get real-time monitoring information and online/offline status; PoE restart can be controlled from the user interface.
IEEE 1588 time protocol for industrial computer networks
The ESW8G-M-SFP2+ is ideal for telecommunications and Carrier Ethernet applications and supports MEF service delivery and timing over packet solutions for IEEE 1588 and synchronous Ethernet.
