WISE (Web Inside, Smart Engine) is a product line developed by ICP DAS that acts as control units for use in remote logic control and monitoring in various industrial applications. WISE offers a user-friendly and intuitive website interface that allows users to implement IF-THEN-ELSE control logic on controllers just a few clicks away; no programming is required. With its powerful and user-friendly features, it minimizes the learning curve, shortens time to market, and dramatically reduces the effort and cost of system development.
The L-CON16DD-I complies with IEEE 802.3af compliant (Class 1) Power over Ethernet (PoE) specification. It allows to receive power from PoE-enabled network via Ethernet pairs (Category 5 Ethernet cable). This feature provides greater flexibility and higher efficiency, which simplifies system design, saves space, reduces cables and eliminates the need for dedicated power outlets. Meanwhile, in the case of a non-PoE environment, the L-CON16DDI will still be able to receive power from auxiliary power sources such as AC adapters or battery, etc.
This module L-CON16DDI supports Modbus/TCP protocol to make seamless integration with SCADA software available. It has 16 channels of isolated wet contact inputs. Each digital input channel supports counter input.
Another Modbus/TCP device on the network can write values to one of these registers and this data can then also be used in a rule. When using multiple L-CON modules, inputs on one module can be included in a rule on another module.
Rules are set up in a web browser. Up to 12 different email messages can be configured and each of them can have up to 5 recipients.
