L-CON7RTD follows IEEE 802.3af-compliant (classification, Class 1) Power over Ethernet (PoE) specification . It allows to receive power from the PoE-enabled network via Ethernet pairs (Category 5 Ethernet cable). This feature provides greater flexibility and higher efficiency, which simplifies system design, saves space, reduces cables and eliminates the need for dedicated electrical outlets. Meanwhile, L-CON7RTD in case of an environment without PoE still be able to receive power from the auxiliary power sources like AC adapters or battery, etc.
This module L-CON7RTD supports Modbus / TCP protocol to make seamless integration with SCADA software available. It has 16-bit, 7-channel RTD inputs. Each channel has allowed to set up an individual interval that supports the 3-wire RTD lead resistance elimination ledningsdetektion and open to the RTD measurement.
