General information about VDSL
VDSL is Very high bit rate Digital Subscriber Line (2-wire twisted pair-CU cable). The data rate can be up to 100 Mbit / s at short distances on a 2-wire connection (1.9 km). For longer distances and line of poor quality, the rate falls to 15 Mbit / s. A VDSL connection is made up of 2 units - Master and Slave, which may use up to 7 different...

For longer distances and line of poor quality, the rate falls to 15 Mbit / s. A VDSL connection is made up of 2 units - Master and Slave, which may use up to 7 different frequency band (900 kHz - 3.9 MHz and 4 MHz and 7.9 MHz). The connection uses modulation shape Discrete Multi Tone and is full duplex with auto speed function.
The devices connected to Ethernet and a built-in splitter so you can connect a PSTN line to the remote unit and a telephone set to the local unit. If you have only an "old" two-wire connection, VDSL is suitable for a variety of applications requiring high bandwidth (eg. HDTV).
