Protection against solid objects
0 No protection
1 Weak protection such as the back of the hand.
2 Protection against eg. fingers or the like
3 Protection against thick wires or the like
4 Protective against screws, universal. Wires and the like
5 Partially protected against contact with harmful dust.
6 Full protection against harmful dust.
Fluid protection
1 Small vertical drops
2 Vertical drops at a slope up to 15 degrees
3 Can withstand eg. rain or electricity shower
4 Can withstand heavy splashes from several angles
