There can then be up to 100 m between plug-in card and CPU module. NB! Only for RS232 - if RS422 is desired, use the desktop version with the CPU module SER32IC that supports RS422

CPU: Has a built-in 40 MHz RISC processor (TMS320BC52) to ensure minimal load on the system and 512 K memory for buffer.
