However, if the cable between the card and the CPU module must be longer than 2 meters, it must be extended using the extension kit SER32I-EXT. There can then be up to 100 m between plug-in card and CPU module. NB! Only for RS232 - if RS422 is desired, use the desktop version with the CPU module SER32IC that supports RS422
