Eth-VDSL2 + A is an Ethernet-over-VDSL2 converter with high performance. It is designed based on two core network technologies, Ethernet and VDSL2 (digital subscriber line 2 with very high data rate). VDSL2 technology offers the absolutely fastest data transmission rate over existing copper telephone lines without a need for cabling. Eth-VDSL2 + A supports ultra rear performance to the thorough telephone network with up to 100 / 100Mbps symmetrical data rate within 300m and 50 / 2Mbps for 1.4 km long distance connections.
Implementation with existing phone Copper lines
ETH -Vdsl2 + A is also a Long REACH Ethernet (LRE) converter that delivers an RJ-45 Ethernet port and a RJ-11 telephone jack for VDSL2 connection. Using the extra splitter from the eTh-VDSL2 + A package, the splitter can provide pots splitter to share the existing phone line with POTS; Therefore, it is not necessary to replace the existing copper wires. Just insert Eth-VDSL2 + A with extra splitter in the existing RJ-11 telephone jack and a high performance VDSL2 network can be connected. Eth-VDSL2 + A is ideal for being used as an Ethernet extender for an existing Ethernet network.

Easy and flexible installation
Ethernet-over-VDSL2 converter comes with a plug-and-play design and is fully compatible with all kinds of network protocols. In addition, operating status of each port and the entire system can be monitored via the rich diagnostic LEDs on the front panel. VC-231 offers two modes, CPE and CO, for use: CPE mode is used on the client side, and CO mode is on the central page. The CPE or CO mode can be adjusted using a built-in dip switch. For point-to-point connection, a CPE mode Eth-VDSL2 + A and a CO-Mode Eth-VDSL2 + A must be configured as a few converters to perform the connection.
