TEST-LAN-M-P is a handheld multifunctional network tester with integrated on- or offline testing of cables, devices, lengths and telephone lines.
In online test function where TEST-LAN-M-P ping network devices such as routers, switches, network printers and PCs etc. and the IP address, host name and MAC address of the ping address are mapped.
In offline test mode, TEST-LAN-M-P operates as a cable tester.
In addition to the network tester, 4 remote modules are included to attach the cable at the opposite end, so that TEST-LAN-M-P can test network cables that have already been pulled.
In addition, the TEST-LAN-M-P has an integrated digital tone generator and a gate finder feature to track and identify cables.
Cables configured differently from regular network cables can be “learned” by TEST-LAN-M-P and then tested.
