The Eth-Can2-Mod-GW module is a Modbus TCP for 2-Ports CAN Bus Gateway, which means that the module can easily be integrated with an industrial network. Eth-Can2-MOD-GW has 2 CAN bus interfaces, which means that several CAN applications can be supported, such as a Can-Bridge (Bridge) or a CAN Message Router, which means that ETH-CAN2-MOD-GW Can be used to connect to 4 different CAN networks so that they can communicate with each other.

Modbus TCP Server The function is used to implement communication between a CAN device and a Modbus TCP client. When Eth-Can2-MOD-GW is Modbus TCP Server, the Modbus TCP client must use Modbus commands based on the CAN format to access ETH-CAN2 mod-GW.
Eth-Can2-Mod-GW Translate these commands for messages in CAN format and send them to the CAN networks.
Similarly when a CAN form message message is received from the CAN network, translates ETH-CAN2 against GW message to Modbus format , which can then be accessed using a Modbus command.

Modbus TCP Client function Used to implement communication between a CAN bus and a Modbus TCP server. Which can access the Modbus TCP Server via the command configuration. When ETH-CAN2-MOD-GW receives I / O data, it will forward them to the external CAN devices for analysis, control or other operations. When the ECAN 240 module is configured, it is also able to access the Modbus TCP server via a CAN message.

Pair Connection is for communication between 2 ends of CAN network. Can Network # 1 can communicate with CAN Network # 3 or CAN Network # 4 using parsing configuration. Similarly, Can Network # 2 can also communicate with Can Network # 3 or Can Network # 4 in the same way. PAIR connection on ETH-CAN2-MOD-GW is implemented via either TCP or UDP protocol.
