HDMI-MULTI-R is an ideal solution for sharing an HDMI signal over the network.
HDMI-MULTI-R has several functions. The HDMI signal can be distributed over several screens as a video wall.
A signal is also transmitted over long distances using the network or split out to several screens.
For each monitor, 1 x HDMI-MULTI-R must be used.
HDMI-MULTI-R can be used in existing networks, which, however, require IP Multicast policies to be supported by the switches in the network (IGMP snooping) to avoid disturbances.
Several HDMI-MULTI-T transmitters can be placed on the network as transmitters and receivers only communicate with devices with the same ID - selected via a rotary knob on the transmitter and receiver.
The EDID information is supported via copy-in from monitor.
